Create High-Quality Website Content

Firstly, you’ll need to create valuable website content for your target reader. Think about the barriers they face when buying from you and try and eliminate them with well-written blog posts, pages, and product descriptions.

Answer regularly asked questions and provide a brief background to your company. Keep the information short, succinct, and easy to read. Every word should give value to your website.

Optimise

Secondly, make it easy for search engines to find your website content. You do this with a few cleverly placed keywords throughout your webpage. Conduct keyword research that best positions your website against your competitors.

Then, include your main keyword in your page title, the URL, in at least one sub-head, and scattered two or three times in the bulk of your text. When the page is written, include the keyword in your image title, meta title, and meta description. This will help you get higher up the search engine rankings, making you more likely to be found organically.

Format

So, you’ve got organic traffic to your site. Now you need to keep those visitors! That is where formatting comes in handy.

Ensure your content starts with a hook – something that intrigues the reader and encourages them to read on. Break the text into short paragraphs with lots of sub-heads so the content is scannable. Visitors should easily be able to find the information they are looking for.

Finally, always include a call to action – something you want the reader to do once they have finished reading. This might direct them to your store, encourage a purchase, or give them the information they need to get in touch.

Get on Social Media

Social media is an excellent tool for driving traffic to your website. And the best bit is, you don’t need to think of anything new to say. You can take the information on your website and rehash it in a series of short posts. You can implement many tips and tricks on different socials, but being present and engaging with your followers is the easiest way to get people curious about your business. Once you have their attention, you can use content to direct them to your website.
