Here are the answers to the most common questions I’m asked by my clients.
If you can’t take my word for it, then take a look at the reviews from my previous clients! Many of them are still customers today as they don’t trust anyone else to write their content.
I also aim to become an integral part of your business with regular Zoom calls and face-to-face meetings wherever possible. By getting to know you and your team on a personal level, it is my hope that I will better be able to embody your brand and do your content justice.
My focus is very lifestyle based. Fashion, beauty, health and wellness are all key interests of mine that I will be happy to help with. However, my core business tends to be working with luxury furniture designers, as well as kitchen and bathroom designers. If you are a web designer, please contact me to see how I can help you boost your customer satisfaction rates!
I like to have a quick chat with my clients before we start, as this allows us to both get a feel for each other and helps me learn a little more about your business and requirements. Once I know what it is that you need, I will prepare a quote for the work, which will include expected timescales, and email it over to you. On acceptance of the quote, I will start preparing your content!
Each project is individually assessed depending on the time and complexity of the work involved. I will provide you with a quote after we have discussed your requirements. You are then free to accept my quote as you wish.
New clients will be expected to pay a 50% deposit for the work discussed.
If you decide you no longer wish to work with Essence Content, then I will require notice of this in writing – an email is fine. I will charge for any work completed up to the date of your email.
Currently I can accept payment via bank transfer or PayPal. In the future I hope to be set up to arrange direct debits too.
Yes, rewriting content can sometimes be all that is required to improve your business image. Just let me know what you need!
When I send a quote for the work required, it comes along with a link to my business terms and conditions. When you agree to the quote, you also agree to these terms and conditions. This negates the need for any written contract.
Usually, most revisions are minor and therefore completed without extra charge. If you need more than two major revisions, then I will start charging based on the work required.
Yes, of course. Copying content from other sources is not good for SEO and really goes against best practice methods. Everything I write is completely original and checked through Copyscape.
Once you have paid for the work, the content provided is yours to do with as you wish. Upon payment of your invoice, copyright is passed to you.
Everything I prepare for use on the internet is written with SEO practices in mind. Keyword research forms a part of my service.
When we have our first phone consultation, it would be great if you could provide as much information about your company, business goals and content requirements as possible. This will help me to build the best picture of your brand so that I can write content that sounds as though it has come directly from you.
It is also useful to know who your competitors are and about businesses that have impressed you with their content and voice.
Well, I think that about covers everything! However, if you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask by contacting me.
