You Won’t Put Your Full Trust in Me

I get it; I do. Your website is your business baby, and you need to make sure every word is perfect. Your content needs to flow, it needs to fit in the allocated spots, and it needs to encourage visitors to buy. I know all this and how to write words that do all of that. So relax, and let me do my thing!

You Think You Can Write It Better

If you ask me to write your content, and then you just rewrite it after you’ve paid me, you’ve wasted time and money on our relationship. If you know what you want to say and how to say it, you might as well write it yourself. If you’re busy, at least take some time to create a proper brief, so you are less likely to need to edit it.

If you know what you want to say but can’t find the right words, I can help! In fact, I’m great at taking your tangled thoughts and rearranging them to make sense.

You Are Going to Drip-Feed Me the Brief

There is nothing more annoying than spending a few hours writing the perfect content for your website only to have you tell me that it needs to be written in the third person. Or it needs to be shorter. Or it needs to include a specific keyword. Or something else that would have been really useful to tell me right at the beginning. I’ll be talking about briefs soon on my blog, so we can always ensure everyone is on the same page from the start.

You Are Going to Make Me Chase Payment

I’m a busy girl, and I prioritise my time carefully. If I am writing your content, it’s because I have given you space on my to-do list. I will work hard to provide you with high-quality content within a decent time frame. Then I will invoice you. If you don’t have the money ready to pay, you probably shouldn’t have hired a copywriter yet. Then I wouldn’t have had to waste time chasing you for money, which is embarrassing for us both.

You Expect Miracles

What my content can do: Encourage people to buy. Boost SEO. Communicate your business message.

What my content can’t do: Make people visit your website.

So, if you think investing in content is enough to rocket fuel your business earnings, you’d be wrong. You’ll need to do a little marketing of your own to get the best from my words.

If none of that sounds like you, then we could be a business match made in heaven! Get in touch, and let’s talk words!
